Advisory opinions released by the California State Bar Standing Committee on Professional Responsibility and Conduct. Coverage begins with 1977.

The Professional Responsibility and Ethics Committee will consider requests from LACBA members for formal opinions on ethics matters of general interest to the bar. The committee does not opine on matters of law or offer opinions for the benefit of particular clients or in response to matters presently in dispute. The committee may respond to written questions about ethical matters of general interest through a private informal letter or a published formal opinion.

Contains opinions from 1968-1 to present.

These files typically contain analyses prepared by the Legislative Counsel, Attorney General, other constitutional officers, state agencies and the Governor's staff. Also available is correspondence from the bill's author as well as affected organizations and individuals. Vetoed bill files include the text of the Governor's veto message. The library contains these files from 1945-1995.

Contains proclamations from the governor's office from 2011 to present.

Contains only recent public notices issued by the governor's office.

Contains executive orders issued by the governor beginning with 1999.
